Case Study | East Lothian Crematorium
We recently completed a 9.9KWp solar PV installation for the new East Lothian Crematorium. This marks the second crematorium project we’ve carried out in partnership with Airdrie Mechanical Services, following our successful installation at Bishopbriggs. As part of this new build development, our team was responsible for the full design and installation of the solar PV system, ensuring high efficiency and long-term reliability. The system consists of 22 Trina 450W solar panels, a Solis 10KW inverter, and a Clenergy mounting system, chosen for their proven performance and durability.
The system will help offset the crematorium’s daytime energy usage, supporting lower operational costs and reduced reliance on grid electricity — all while contributing to a more sustainable future for the site.
