Solar & Storage Live UK 2026: Our Highlights from Birmingham
October 1, 2026 | 7d | Blog
We spent a few busy days in Birmingham at Solar & Storage Live UK 2026, one of the biggest events in the UK renewable energy calendar. It's always a great chance to see what's next for the solar and battery storage industry, catch up with the suppliers we work with, and talk through the latest technology.
Here are a few highlights from this year's show.
We had a good conversation with MetSolar about their solar carport solutions. For businesses with car parks, solar carports are an interesting option: they turn unused space into a source of renewable energy and give vehicles shelter at the same time. If you're a business owner looking to cut energy costs without giving up roof space, it's worth thinking about.
It was also great to catch up with our friends at Solis. We already use their solar inverters across many of our installations. At the show we got a first look at their new all-in-one residential energy storage system, which puts the inverter and stackable battery storage into a single integrated unit.
For homeowners, that means a neater installation, and you can add more battery capacity as your needs change. The system is due to launch in the UK soon, and we're really looking forward to offering it to our customers.
Events like Solar & Storage Live help us stay up to date with the latest solar PV and battery technology, so we can recommend the right system for every home and business we work with.
